I started my career at the University of Cagliari (Italy), at the Faculty of Biology and Pharmacology, where I graduated in Natural Sciences in September 2013. After two sabbatical years, I started a master in Biodiversity Evolution and Conservation at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Leiden (Netherlands), where I graduated in January 2018. Then, after some twists and turns of life, in January 2020, I finally started my doctorate at the University of Lleida. My research is mainly focused on characterising patterns of intraspecific variability of functional traits potentially related to two abiotic stressors/disturbances, drought and fire, in three species of Mediterranean pines using high-throughput phenotyping techniques.
